What to expect and what really happened.

Just this October 4th, google began its live google pixel event, making several important groundbreaking announcements along the way. Here are the new updates and announcements made during this event.
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro are going to be the newest addition to google’s new product line. This phone is having lots of massive changes to it’s camera, performance and design. This year, the Pixel 8 is going to have a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP wide camera, the rest of it is going to be the same. The sensor on the camera is larger and should capture 35% more light than the Pixel 7 camera. The Pixel 8 Pro is going to have a 5x telephoto lens of 48 MP and the same wide camera. The ultra-wide camera is going to have a much-needed upgrade to the 48 MP ultra-wide camera.
“Another Pixel 8 Pro feature that has already leaked is an FIR thermometer sensor . Some have speculated that it might be a full thermal camera that could be used for photography purposes too, so let me clear the air: it’s not.” This was noted by the Android authority and it states this is not a big of a change.
The design of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro are the same, other than more curved edges, matte finish and flat screens. The more observable feature is the Pixel 8 Pro cameras are all joined together. And there is a new spot for the body thermometer. The rumored colors for pixel 8 will be: sage, similar to the Pixel 5 and 6a, and the pale pink color was shown in the teaser of google Pixel 8. It is rumored that there is going to be a sky-blue color too. There will also be the same black color, now called licorice, and porcelain, which is the white color.
For Pixel 8 Pro, there is expected to be a color called sky, or blue. There is going to be white and black for the Pixel 8 Pro, too.
The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will have a Google Tensor G3 chip. The ram for Pixel 8 will be 8 GB and for the Pro model, 12GB. The storage capacity for Pixel 8 will 128 GB not expandable, and for pixel 8 pro 256 GB not expandable. The resolution for the Pixel 8 model will be at 2400 x 1080 pixels, 20:9 ratio, 424 PPI and for the Pixel 8 Pro model it is: 3120 x 1440 pixels, 20:9 ratio, 513 PPI. As you can see, the display will be brighter than the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 7 pro, and the resolution of the Pixel 8 pro will be higher than the Pixel 8, which is at 424 PPI. These features and specs are not that important, as they have a slight change from last year.
The Pixel watch 2 is also going to be released on October 4th alongside Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. This watch is going to have amazing new features, such as: it is going to have the new snapdragon W5 or the W5+ chipset and it is going to have a new battery life. The body of the watch might be made of aluminum instead of stainless steel, even though, research shows that aluminum is less durable than stainless steel. The less known features are it is going to include a different sensor, an IP68 water rating, and lots of new sports bands. The colors of the watch base will be the same as last year’s, champagne gold, which will be paired with the hazel active band, matte black with obsidian, and polished silver with white or bay colors. There will be new sports style bands that will be released, with a lot of colors. There will also be an assistant's interpreter mode working on the new wearable, allowing for near-real-time conversation translation between two languages right from your wrist.
The new features which weren’t noted in the rumors.
The AI has improved a lot, which has added new features, which includes macro focus, super res zooms, and astrophotography. This makes google one the best photo editing phone for cameramen & photo editors.
The chipset of the phones is the tensor G3 chip, and the Titan M2 chip, with a built in VPN. 12gb RAM on the pixel 8 pro, and 8gb RAM on the Pixel 8. The voice on the google assistant is more human.
The colors of the Pixel 8 confirmed are: hazel, rose, and obsidian. Unfortunately, there is no sage green this year. The Pixel 8 pro has the obsidian, porcelain, and the new color, which according to the rumors, is bay (blue). All the Pixel 8 Pro have matte finish. The brightness of the phones has gone dramatically brighter than the previous phones. The Pixel 8 has 2,000 nits ad the 8 pro has a whopping 2,400 nits. Which is about 1000 nits brighter than last year. The rumors about the cameras were all true, and there are a lot of new AI features. This includes best take, and audio eraser. The Pixel watch 2 does have a lot of different sport bands, and it also has an IP68 water rating. There are not many new features in the Pixel watch 2.
This phone is an amazing addition to Google’s new product line, and there are amazing features. If you are like clicking photos and editing them, this phone is perfect for you. If you need a fast-working phone with good graphics, this phone is also good for you. I highly recommend this phone to cameramen and gamers. If you even buy it the Pixel Watch 2, it will enhance the experience of using them in your everyday lives.
