Is the show COMPLETELY scripted, or is it real?

THE RIGGED SERIES!
This reality TV series was filmed at the Abby Lee Dance Company, which is owned by Abby Lee Miller. Abby Lee Miller is also a dance instructor and choreographer. Dance Moms is a mostly unscripted reality TV show, where you follow moms and their daughters all around the country to perform their dances at many different locations, in which they would sometimes get into fights with their competitors. They ONLY had 1 week to practice.
In all seasons there were fights between the cast but was it scripted?
Each girl wanted to rise on Abby Lee Miller’s pyramid to be the top and be the best. The producers did not think it would become so huge, but ended up as an enormous success and had 8 seasons. The show premiered on July 13 2011, and ran for seven seasons concluding on November 7th, 2017. It was later renewed and had an 8th season.
INTRODUCING THE CAST
The show Dance Mom’s cast contains overall just moms with their daughters who travelled places to compete, they were also the main basis of the show. The show contains a lot of verbal fights, with the trainer Abby Lee and with the multiple moms that are showcased in the series.
Some leave because they see their daughter being yelled at by Abby Lee, which is the stakes to having a great tutor. Some leave for no reason at all. Overall, the show’s cast is, HUMONGOUS! It definitely adds spice to the whole show since it’s literally called “DanceMoms”.
Why did the ‘Dance Moms’ cast fight so much?
The cast in this reality TV show had known each other for a long time before the show had started. The casting director knew that they already had an opinion for one another (since they already knew each other). According to Lukasiak (Chloe’s Mom), she said that, “We had all of this history and this dirt on each other that we were still willing to bring up at a moment’s notice, which is half the reason why we fought so much.” She also mentioned that when they do fight, they were fighting about something else that happened a LONG time ago, but the producers had made it look like they were fighting about something else. Their long history has caused tension and dramatic scenes. While many people believe that Dance Moms may not actually be a scripted reality TV show, the way that the show was presented is questionable in many ways.
The show probably isn’t fake, but it wasn’t entirely real either. Often times the videos are edited to make something seem like it happened when it didn’t. Some of the dance mom’s cast have said that, “We never got a script, but they knew what they wanted every week, and they would set you up.” The producers know and are well-aware of what they wanted. They would sometimes tell the cast of the show to say some things or purposely do some things that would definitely create drama.
